Indiana Gaming Commission has licensed Canadian based Cover Media Group to operate in the state. Cover Media Group will now partner with regulated sportsbook and online gaming operators in Indiana. The websites engage in affiliate relationships by referring customers to partnered operators, in turn, gets a share of revenue or fees.
Cover Media Group General Manager, Mark Harper told Affiliate Insider that the website is committed to working with sportsbook operators who have been authorized by the state. Harper added that the group is ready to complete a partnership with Indian state operators.
Sports betting in Indiana
Indiana is the latest state in the US to authorize sports betting. The handle went live in September, and revenue has drastically improved.
In October, the state recorded 160 percent growth to 1.7 million. Introduction of mobile sports betting was praised for the success.
History of Cover Media Group
The group was founded in 1995 in Nova Scotia State in Canada. The website provides betting tips in several sports, which include the NHL, NBA, and NFL. The sites have monthly millions of visitors and a Twitter following of more than 129,000.
Apart from providing written content to fans, the website includes odds and market for various sporting events. Punters are also allowed to participate in a contest for prizes as they interact with other forums.
