Hard Rock International (HRI) has launched a new iGaming and sports betting joint venture with former The Stars Group (TSG). On Monday, Hard Rock Digital (HRD), will serve the exclusive Hard Rock and Seminole Gaming (SGA), for gaming and sports betting globally. This new joint venture is backed by SGA, HRI, and all other partners.
Rafi Ashkenazi will be the HRD’s executive chairman. The former CEO of TSG will start sometime next year. He stepped down from TSG after it was acquired by Flutter Entertainment.
Marlon Goldstein, a former TSG legal eagle will also join. Matt Primeaux, another former TSG would be the president for HRD. However, all of them would be the executive managing directors.
Jim Allen would be the Chairman of HRD from Seminole Tribe, based in Hollywood. HRD is currently pursuing broadening and distribution opportunities in the US and beyond.
The online casino of New Jersey generated $6.3mn in November, a 189% increase over a year-on-year and added $363k.
There was no mention for Scientific Games Corp which went unmentioned on Monday’s announcement. The HRD site however features a lengthy list of available positions in Florida, Texas, and so forth.
