Sunset Station Hotel and Casino, a property owned by Station Casinos, has unveiled plans to carry out an extensive upgrade of its premises. This renovation includes a complete overhaul of the STN Sportsbook, the casino floor, and relocating the High Limit Slots room, truly setting Station Casinos apart in the competitive gaming industry.
The STN Sportsbook upgrade commences on October 9th, which will witness the temporary closure of the Sunset Station’s Race and Sportsbook, to make way for the revamped version. The enhanced sportsbook will boast plush, lounge-style seating, an array of sports wagering and racing kiosks, and a massive 150-foot video wall for top-tier viewing. To complete the atmosphere, a well-stocked bar serving draft beer and fine spirits, coupled with table gaming options, will ensure a premium experience for all patrons.
During the renovation, an interim sportsbook and racetrack will be available adjacent to the Rewards Center. This will provide visitors with continued access to betting and financial transactions via the STN Sports kiosks located within the casino or directly over the counter. Additionally, from October 9, Club Madrid will transform into a dedicated viewing center for college, and professional football games happening every Monday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
In the same vein, the High Limit Slots room will undergo repositioning, moving to the former keno space and becoming an integral part of the new sports wagering area. The space is set to feature popular high-stakes machines to cater to discerning customers.
The renovation plan extends to the prolific casino floor, which will be upgraded in phases. The updates will include a fresh carpet installation, improved lighting, modernized restrooms, and refurbished facades. The universally admired Spanish theme throughout the facility will also receive a contemporary makeover, enhancing the overall customer experience.
