The Hard Rock Casino Rockford is projected to outpace its annual revenue total for 2022 by the close of this month, powered by robust earnings in September.
Located at 610 N. Bell School Road, the Rockford Casino amassed $5.7 million in gross returns in September after gambling payouts were covered. This reflected a slight uptick in revenue compared to August’s $5.6 million business gross, ranking as the fifth most lucrative month of 2023.
Year-over-year figures indicate the casino’s performance is advanced from 2022. The cumulative revenue from 2022’s operations hit approximately $54.8 million. As of September this year, the casino has already accumulated impressive $51 million. Projection based on October of last year’s $4.9 million in revenue suggests the casino is on track to exceed last year’s yearly total.
The introduction of table games in April has significantly amplified earnings at the casino, adding a profitable element to the gaming floor. These have proven to be a huge draw for gamblers, accumulating losses of $395,079 in September alone. Thus far, gross revenues from table games for the ongoing year are nearly at $2.3 million.
In terms of patron traffic, the 20,000 square-foot casino has seen a total of 453,835 visits through September. In September alone, attendance reached 52,158 visits, cementing it as the third busiest month of the year.
Given these figures, it is clear that the Hard Rock Casino Rockford has achieved a successful stride and is keenly set to surpass previous records.
