Heralding the release of another sequel, Play’n GO, the online casino gaming giant, has launched Raging Rex 3, a follow-up to its dinosaur-themed 2022 game. This immersive sequel seeks to transport players to the prehistoric world of titans, promising both thrilling features and significant reward potential.
Raging Rex 3 plunges players into the tumultuous environment of the Cretaceous period by embodying key historical events with the backdrop of the game. Players will experience the emergence of mountains, the spread of gigantic forests, and the evolution of iconic dinosaur species, all while they strive to create winning combinations across the 6×4 reels.
The game’s central figure, the Raging Rex, is portrayed as an experienced predator, with her prey locked securely in her sights. During gameplay, players can trigger a Free Spins round by landing three to six scatter symbols, which then unlocks one of three Free Spins bonuses: Feeding Frenzy, Survival, or Hatchling Mania.
During the Feeding Frenzy, one of the four dinosaur symbols becomes a target for the Raging Rex. She will stomp across the reels, adding to the Frenzy Meter each time she lands on the reel with this targeted prey.
The Survival mode reimagines the traditional Hold and Win concept as a unique bonus game, hosted on 12 individual reels around a 2×2 Rex collector symbol. Players have only three lives and must accumulate winnings by spinning the Rex collector symbol.
A dynamic resetting mechanic comes into play in Survival mode: three consecutive losses bring an end to the round, whereas each win recuperates the lost lives.
