Par-A-Dice Hotel Casino, East Peoria, has three restaurants. Hotel amenities include the casino, fitness center, and gift shop/newsstand. The hotel has 202 rooms. The casino has 1,100 machines and 20 table games.
Argosy (formerly Alton Belle)in Alton, continually updates its slot machines, offering all denominations including multi-denomination machines from penny to $25. All the best table games can be found at Argosy. There are three dining options. Argosy is open 8 a.m. to 6 a.m. seven days a week.
Casino Queen in East St. Louis is open from 8 a.m. to 6 a.m. daily. Slots, video Poker, Blackjack, Craps, Caribbean Stud, Roulette and 3 Card Poker are available. Four restaurants are onsite. The hotel is located just steps from the casino’s door. There is also an RV park.
Harrah’s Metropolis is located along the Ohio River Valley. The Poker room is open Thursday through Sunday with Texas Hold’em Tournaments beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday night. These tournaments are open to everyone with limited spots. Enjoy one of the three restaurants. The hotel has 252 rooms including pet stay rooms.
Riverboats in Illinois remain dockside. Admission is free to all casinos with a minimum age of 21. There are no free alcoholic beverages, so plan accordingly.
