Jackpot Junction Casino is located in Morton, Minnesota and is operated by the Lower Sioux Indian Tribe. The backdrop for the casino is in the river valley of Minnesota’s southern bluffs and covers over seventeen hundred acres. It was established in nineteen eighty four as a bingo hall but has grown to be one of the premier gaming facilities in the state. The casino has over four hundred and forty thousand square feet with lodging, dining, entertainment, meeting space, golf and an RV Park. In addition, the casino has a bus tour feature for groups. Casino

The casino has slots, table games, bingo and specialty games for all players. There are twelve hundred slots machines in both the video and reel variety. The slots have play options of one dollar to fifty dollar denomination. The casino has the ticket in and ticket out or TITO platform, which means at the end of play the gamer simply prints out a ticket and cashes in at any cashier window.

Table games at Jackpot Junction consist of Black Jack and Poker. There are twenty one tables with betting limits from three to five hundred dollars. The house offers several deck shoes of two, four and six. Poker is considered a specialty game. There is the popular Ultimate Texas Hold’em and Three Card Poker. Jackpot Junction has created a new game called twenty one plus three. The premise of the game is a combination of Black Jack and Three Card Poker played together. VIP and hospitality services are available as well as a Jacuzzi, pool, sauna, fitness and business center. Suites are an option and some have fireplaces and are poolside.

There are five restaurants as well as lounges and bars throughout the facility. This includes the Dacotah Restaurant, Seasons Buffet, Papa John’s Pizza, Wabasha Creek Restaurant and Caribou Coffee. Each eatery caters to a different palate with a variety of fares.

The Dacotah is the main restaurant and provides room service for the hotel. The fare is traditional American such as burgers and steaks and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is open seven days per week from six am to eleven pm except on weekends it closes at two am. There is also a full service bar option.

Seasons Buffet is open seven days a week and has different hours of operation depending on the day. However, it closes nightly at nine pm. Pricing is nominal from under ten dollars for lunch to twelve fifty for dinner. Guests can use points from their players club card instead of cash as long as they have twenty five points on a printed ticket from the Kiosk.

Papa John’s Pizza is available to guests who do not want to hit the casino restaurants but opt to stay in their rooms or other common areas. It is open seven days a week with varying hours depending on the day.

Wabasha Creek is the last restaurant and is located at the Dacotah Ridge Golf Club. It has seasonal availability. However, during service times it provides a full bar, lunch and dinner. The fare is American and prices range from twelve fifty to over twenty dollars with dishes such as chicken fettuccini alfredo to a twelve ounce prime rib. Nightly specials are also available after four pm.

Caribou Coffee is for those guests that want hot coffee. It is available seven days a week at varying hours. It is located off the lobby of the lodge.

Entertainment

Entertainment at Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel is robust with headliners such as The Charlie Daniel’s Band and Louie Armstrong. You must be eighteen or older to purchase tickets. Tickets can be purchased online. The shows are hosted in the new exposition center known as the Dacotah. There is also the outdoor amphitheater which is used during the warmer seasons.

Meetings

Meetings and conventions are available at Jackpot Junction with over forty five thousand square feet of space. They accommodate groups of ten to fourteen with full service catering. Amenities include china, silver, glassware and audio and visual equipment for all bookings. Bookings include such events as banquets, trade shows and weddings. The meal settings for events consist of either formal or buffet style.

Golf

If guests want to indulge in a round of golf, they have come to the right place. When in season, they will be pampered with rounds of golf at the Dacotah Ridge Golf Club located just east of the casino. It is a Rees Jones designed eighteen holes masterpiece which challenges golfers of all levels. The course is over seven one hundred feet situated on two hundred and forty acres with the Wabasha Creek as a backdrop. There are other amenities offered such as the Wabasha Creek Restaurant, a club house and pro shop. Guests can make reservations with play and stay packages.

RV Park

Jackpot Junction Casino offers an RV Park for guest with campers. There are thirty sites of which twenty four are pull through. Amenities include concrete pads, cable television, Wi-Fi, fire rings, picnic tables and security. There are the customary thirty/fifty amp electrical outlets as well as sewer and water hookups. The hotel provides a shuttle service to the casino for the convenience of guests. In addition, guests have access to the hotel pool, kiddie pool, sauna and whirlpool, once they receive a pass from the front desk.
