There are pick-up locations in Denver, Arvada, Aurora, Lakewood, Bear Valley, Wheatridge, and Thornton. If you’re already in Gilpin county, local transportation is excellent. The Black Hawk Tramway is free; it circles the city and gives you a chance to see some of the historic buildings from Black Hawk’s gold mining and gold smelting pass. The Central City Shuttle is also free. It loops between Central City and Black Hawk.

Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, The Café is open from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm Sunday through Thursday, and 9:00 am to midnight Friday and Saturday. Biscuits and gravy, steak and eggs, omelets, huevos rancheros, hash browns, croissant breakfast sandwiches, and breakfast burritos are available all day. Pancakes, French toast, oatmeal, and toast are available until eleven o’clock.
Appetizers include shrimp cocktail, egg rolls, fried pickles, shrimp scampi, Santa Fe chicken eggs rolls, meatball sliders, and both bone-in and boneless chicken wings. The menu boasts wide variety of soups and salads, from Colorado chili to shrimp Caesar salad to taco salad to potato and leek soup. The steak salad is a meal in itself — romaine lettuce, red onions, red peppers, bleu cheese, sliced steak, tomatoes and balsamic dressing — or you can have a simple side salad to go with your lunch or dinner.
The sandwiches include prime rib, Reuben, French dip, BLT, and grilled chicken, as well as several variations of chicken wraps. The hamburgers range from the Colorado chili cheeseburger to the mushroom Swiss burger to the patty melt to the Black Hawk burger.
The Café’s dinner entrees are guaranteed to suit any taste or budget. From filet mignon to spaghetti and meatballs, from teriyaki salmon to fish and chips, from prime rib to fettuccini Alfredo, from BBQ pork ribs to corned beef and cabbage, there’s something to suit every appetite. Desserts include lemon meringue pie, Boston crème pie, carrot cake, cheesecake, chocolate cake, and Tuxedo Bombe, a mouth-watering combination of chocolate Genoise, milk chocolate mousse, and white chocolate mousse covered in chocolate ganache.
Drinks include soda pop, milk, fruit juices, coffee, beer, and wine. Soda pop comes with a free refill.
